At-Taubah
أَلَمۡ يَأۡتِهِمۡ نَبَأُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ قَوۡمِ نُوحٖ وَعَادٖ وَثَمُودَ وَقَوۡمِ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَأَصۡحَٰبِ مَدۡيَنَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡتَفِكَٰتِۚ أَتَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِۖ فَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيَظۡلِمَهُمۡ وَلَٰكِن كَانُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ يَظۡلِمُونَ
70Has not the news of the people before them reached the hypocrites – the people of Nuh ( ) , A’d and Thamud, the people of Ibrahim ( ) , the residents of Madyan and the residents of overturned towns [(i.e. people of Lut ( ) ], the messengers came to them with clear proofs? So Allah did not wrong them, but they used to wrong themselves.
